Beautiful antique Victorian 1/10 gold filled double Albert pocket watch chain with a slide and an intaglio fob.
There are two types of chains used to make this 18" necklace. The longest chain measures 14.5" end to end and is 2.9mm wide. The are two 1.75" extension chains attached to each end and they are 3mm wide. This original slide has a T bar on one chain and a lovely carnelian intaglio on the second chain. The etched image is either a Roman soldier or the Roman god Mercury.
The carnelian fob is suspended from a large spring ring so that you can either switch fobs or add more fobs/charms.
This chain/necklace is in excellent used condition with the slightest minor wear to the metal from use. The swivels work well and one is marked JFS & Sons for James F.
