    Derby Porcelain Botanical Dish
    A late 18th century Derby botanical dish.  It is of lozenge shaped form with slightly scalloped body and rim and was probably from a fruit or dessert service.  It is hand painted with    It is named in the Latin to the reveRse and blue-grey script.  The Derby mark is hand painted and the dish dates around 1810.  The old collectors label to the reverse D 86
    Condition
    The painting in good order with some wear patches to the top gold gilt  probably from stacking wear.  The ground has kiln dust from firing visible to both faces.  Gilt rim surprisingly average for period  rubbing in places.
