Antique Royal Crown Derby Cobalt Blue/Gold Double-Handle Bulbous Vase AS-IS w/nr

An estate found,
signed Royal Crown Derby English porcelain vase with a cobalt blue ground & heavily encrusted gold decoration on the body – offered in “as-is/as-found condition” for repair
with no reserve and a low opening bid!
The vase measures 6-1/4” high x 5-1/4” high across the women’s faces with a 4-1/2” diameter body.
It’s marked on the base with a
ROYAL CROWN DERBY ENGLAND
backstamp, see close-up.
Condition:
the body has a wide old circular crack that extends continuously from the base of the neck under the peacock’s head across the body, under and around one handle and back to the neck on the other side of the same handle; top of same handle reglued and one flea-bite on the rim .
Looks to be old mucilage glue repairs. The decoration is beautiful – but unfortunate condition. It’s fresh from a local Lower Eastern Shore home.
