c1870s Beautiful American Victorian 14k Gold Hand Made Chain Necklace

Description

Presented is a nice Victorian 14 karat gold chain. This is an American piece,
dating to around the 1860s-1880s. The chain is beautifully made by hand, all the
links intricately soldered and put together by hand. The chain has a lobster
claw style clasp, which is a modern replacement.
This piece is in great condition. The clasp closes securely. The chain has no
breaks and no repairs.
The chain is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric
acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.
The chain is about 17 1/2 inches long.
The chain weighs 16.5 grams.
