Derby Pattern 500 Hand Painted Orange & Gold Leaf Coffee Cup & Saucer C1782-1800
Nice antique late 18th century porcelain coffee cup and saucer. Decorated in the Derby pattern 50 hundred with orange and gold leaf design. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with a puce Derby mark used between 1782 and 1800.
Has some wear to the gilding and usage wear consistent with age. Also has a chip to the edge of the saucer and a small flake to the foot rim of the cup. No additional chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 3 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/4 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide.
This an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
