A MAGNIFICENT JEWEL - AN OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND, 5 ROUND FACETED NATURAL MINED SAPPHIRES AND GORGEOUS PEARLS ADORN THIS ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN VICTORIAN NEGLIGEE NECKLACE IN THE FORM OF A BOW - IN 14K ROSE GOLD AND DATING TO C1890-1910.
This is a magnificent antique Edwardian jewel!!! Absolutely the finest quality.  This necklace is in the Negligee style that so characterizes the Edwardian period with its two pendant chains of differing lengths.
The central medallion in the form of a bow is absolutely stunning with a central Old Mine Cut Diamond.  The pendants contain 5 faceted natural mined sapphires of the most gorgeous blue!  There are natural seed pearls throughout with 2 baroque pearls at the bottom of the pendants.  Such a romantic delicate delightful early antique jewel - we LOVE IT!!!
The pendant comes with the antique 10K gold Victorian barrel clasp chain which is 18 inches long.
The gems are all in excellent period condition.  The piece is hallmarked 14K.   The pendant is 2 inches long (50mm) not including the top bale, and 16mm wide.  The pendant and chain weigh 7.3 grams.  The jewel comes from a wonderful New York estate.
