Geo Shiebler Sterling Silver Tulip Plate Excellent Condition!

Description

This is a very pretty,  deeply pierced Tulip composite
design by George Shiebler Silversmiths (Brooklyn, NY).
The plate is about 5 1/4 inches wide and stands about
a 1/2 inch tall. The plate shows light use with a few tiny
nicks and a pinhead size ding in the bottom of the bowl.
The imperfections are difficult to see and there are no
dents or creases or deep scratches. The plate is
signed by the retailer of the day “A Stowell & Co” of
Boston, Ma. The model number is listed with “Sterling”.
The hallmark of the winged ‘S’ for Shiebler Silversmiths
as shown. The plate weighs 72 grams. This auction is
