A George III sterling silver salver by Hester Bateman, London 1780. The salver is of circular form, with a beaded border, sitting on three claw and ball feet. The centre of the salver has a later engraved foliate scroll decoration. The hallmarks are located to the reverse with the makers mark of '
HB'
(Hester Bateman), London assay mark, and date letter 'e' for 1780.
