    Description

I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world.  Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!
    ABOUT:
Sweet and elegant antique two sided photo pendant with delicate ivy leaves draped around the edges.  Beautiful antique patina - I think it is brass.  There are some areas that have a shine like gold, so it is possible it was gold filled and has worn to the underlying brass but I would say it appears as mostly antique brass now.
Antique piece from the Art Nouveau to Art Deco period, I acquired this piece in France.  The ivy motif was popular in Victorian times in jewelry as it represents life and eternity (essentially immortality), along with clinging attachment. It also was used to express fidelity and friendship. These make great unique antique gifts and I have a few other options of them as seen in photos.
It has two glass covers cut to fit, and then the brass frame with a screw top, almost like a loom.  You unscrew the top, which loosens the frame so you can remove it and separate the two glass pieces to put your photo inside, then you put the frame back around it and screw in the top to hold the glass and inserts together.
You could insert two photos with one visible from the front and a different one from the back. Elegant and interesting piece!
    Chain is not included.
    MEASUREMENTS:
The piece measures about an inch and 1/8 wide.
    IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned with some age to them so they are in estate condition.   A few nicks to the frame.  If it was all over gold fill, it has worn to brass on the frame now.  A bit of surface wear.  Still a neat piece considering age of over 100 years. But my disclaimer with all my estate pieces - this is not a mint condition item due to age.
Let me know of any questions and thanks for stopping by!
