Beautiful Antique Victorian English Silver Locket on Decorative Pieced Chain
This lovely antique locket and chain was originally purchased at a high end antique store in New Orleans, Keil's Antiques, Inc.
The Locket is a rectangular shape with small bead work around the edge, a floral engraved decorated top, a plain back with English Hallmarks, and a great bale for attaching to the chain.
The chain that comes with the locket is a piece of art by itself and could be worn as a chain necklace.  The chain is made of a sequence of linked round decorated discs that follow a pattern with two distinct patterns.  The necklace has a large circular clasp that joins the chain with the bale of the Locket.
The chain measures 16" long.  The locket is just over 1.2" long.  Appraised for ,900.
