Peruvian Sterling Tray or Charger Ornate 11"

Description

In gleaming sterling silver, this elegant tray or charger could be used for both purposes.  It measure eleven inches in diameter, with an inner flat area of 7 1/4".  The rim pattern is elegant and would blend with a great many antique and vintage patterns of European or US made patterns.  The maker's mark is a five pointed star with a "G" inside the star.  I have not been successful in discovering the name of the maker . . . but he or she made a very high quality charger.  This piece is authentic, stamped "peruviana industria" and "plata" (sterling).  This sterling tray has a high mirror polish.  Please be aware that any and all wavy lines or "black" marks in my photos are merely reflections of my ceiling or surrounding objects and are not in the tray.
The center of the tray is beautifully monogrammed GWW, in flowing script.  Used as a charger, the beautiful monogram will be covered.  Used as a serving plate or tray, the monogram will be covered with a paper doily and also not visible.   There are a few signs of light use on the piece, but nothing a jeweler couldn't buff out.  As the entire piece has a very high mirror polish, I doubt anyone would want to bother correcting almost invisible signs of use.
The tray weighs 345.3 grams, very substantial for its' size.
