Description
Acquired from the estate of Senator Jacob K. Javits (1904-1986). A bronze medallion commemorating the second inauguration of Dwight Eisenhower and Richard Nixon January 20, 1957, mounted in a Sterling Silver dish. The dish measures approximately 9.5" in diameter. The total weight is 433.50 grams/15.29 ozs. We do not know the weight of the silver without the medallion. There are surface scratches present along with spots of discoloration. There is tarnish present, slightly warped.
