DESCRIPTION:
This is an antique French silver muff or guard chain.  It is marked with the French Boar’s head mark on the clasp - see photos.  It measures approx 57 inches in circumference (28.5 inches doubled) and about 3mm wide.  It has normal light surface wear and tarnish.  The links twist up fairly easily because of the shape of the links.  It weighs 14 grams.
