This solid sterling silver plate made by Silver Creations Ltd. Artwork by Churchill’s nephew, John Spencer Churchill depicts Sir Winston Churchill through the eyes of those closest to him.

In 1963, President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, through an act of Congress, named Sir Winston Churchill an honorary United States citizen. Churchill was the first man to receive such an honor. Silver Creations Ltd., commissioned John Spencer Churchill to create a series of five commemorative plates. This one is “THE HOUR OF DECISION”.
Churchill’s  daughter Sarah Churchill designed the artwork on the presentation case. This being the first edition shows Winston Churchill holding a cigar.
Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Sarah Churchill and John Spencer Churchill inserted in the case together with a card giving background information.
Never opened or taken out of the box.
