Wonderful Victorian 14K Enamel & Rose Cut Diamond Insect Fly Locket Pendant

Description

This is a sweet pendant/ locket/ memorial pendant. It is crafted from 14K Yellow gold with a rich royal blue enamel. The backside features its original glass and frame with a lock of hair. I have not tried to open the frame so I am not sure if it is pertinent or removable...... The front of the locket features a sterling silver fly. The wings are adorned with rose cut diamonds and the eyes with garnets. I just love old victorian insect jewels..... The condition is very good, simply one leg missing off the back of the fly. The enamel may have been repaired, but there is no evidence of this, it is a deep royal blue....
